Do we know, or do we think we know?

The day after tomorrow, the contemporary art fair ARCO will commence with Brazil as the country of honor. 

Contemporary art is something which, for many, is obscure and difficult to understand, which is why I applaud the initiative of Javier Fuentes Feo of creating an informative magazine about contemporary art, thinking of those non experts interested in knowing more about this field in a pleasant and accessible way. 

His magazine entitled, “Enter: Arte” dedicates its first issue to comment on sixty great works displayed in ARCO 2008 in proposal form to follow in our visit to the fair this year.  This magazine is another means of confluence between contemporary art culture and the general public, an objective which is shared by the IE Business School’s Department of Humanities.  In fact, there are times in which it is not easy to discern what you know.
