The National Public Radio has many treasures, including, but not limited to, it’s award winning reporters, lively talk shows and important political commentary.  Another which I have recently discovered on its website is World of Opera, a wonderful show which features thoughtful reviews and commentary about opera.  At the World of Opera website, you even have the wonderful option of listening to full length operas, along with interviews of the stars.

Here, you can listen to the full length of Gounod’s Faust, performed at Houston’s Opera House, and also learn about the history of the opera itself.

Enjoy!
